Perched at an altitude of 1,045m, Chalet Coco offers modern comfort and high-end facilities in a spacious, light-filled interior.
The chalet is situated in a charming hamlet less than 2km from the village of Arâches-la-Frasse, and just a 10-minute drive from the Carroz ski resort, where you’ll find most shops and services.
Outside the winter season, the region offers a wealth of hiking trails, outdoor activities, and family-friendly events. For a change of pace, the Saint-Gervais thermal baths are just 40 minutes away, while the aquatic centres of Les Carroz and Samoëns are only 12 and 30 minutes away respectively.
After a day of exploring, unwind in Chalet Coco’s private sauna or take a cup of coffee onto the terrace where you can admire the views and listen to the gentle sound of the stream flowing just behind the chalet.
About the property…
Chalet Coco is a bright and airy property spread over three levels. It can accommodate up to 14 guests (including 10 adults), with six bedrooms and five bathrooms.
On the garden level, you’ll find the sauna with a walk-in shower, as well as the first two bedrooms. One double bedroom opens onto the garden and has its own en-suite shower room with toilet. A four-person bunk room has access to a second bathroom with a bath and two wash basins. There is also a separate toilet on this level.
The ground floor is dedicated to the open-plan living area, which opens onto a wraparound terrace. There’s a comfortable seating area with several sofas, a fireplace, a round dining table designed for sociable meals together and a fully equipped modern kitchen. A second living room is furnished with an L-shaped sofa and a TV. In good weather, sit out on the furnished terrace and enjoy the Alpine air and mountain views.
The first floor is home to four more bedrooms: three double rooms – two of which can also be arranged as twin beds upon request – and one bedroom with two single beds. Two of these bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms with toilets, while the other two share a third shower room and a separate toilet.
On the practical side, there’s also a useful laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, a ski room with a heated boot dryer, as well as four outdoor parking spaces. Family-friendly amenities include two baby cots and two high chairs. Eight pairs of snowshoes, some walking poles and sledges have been provided to help you make the most of your stay during the winter.

Chalet Coco is located in a high-altitude hamlet close to Arâches-la-Frasse.
Arâches-la-Frasse is a mountain village overlooking the Arve Valley, near Cluses, Flaine and Samoëns. This traditional village is home to the ski resort of Les Carroz and is surrounded by forests and alpine pastures. There’s also easy access to major transport routes. Arâches-la-Frasse appeals to families and guests seeking a peaceful setting without compromising on a wide range of activities.
In winter, the village provides direct access to the Grand Massif ski area, which features 139 pistes linking Les Carroz, Flaine, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. This vast playground suits both beginners and experienced skiers, with long forest runs and beautiful high-altitude areas. Alpine and cross-country skiing, ice skating, ice climbing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and dog sledding are also on offer, in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.
During the rest of the year, the region is ideal for outdoor pursuits. There are several small lakes where you can enjoy a picnic, swim or relax, while hiking and mountain biking trails wind through alpine meadows and forests. The Arve Valley also offers water sports such as rafting and hydrospeed. The aquatic centre and summer events in Les Carroz add to the varied range of activities.

“Comfortable Chalet with Minor Drawbacks”
Very beautiful and comfortable chalet, excellent bedding, lovely view, bright and spacious interior. Slightly far from the slopes, and combined with parking difficulties at Les Carroz, where the Piou-Piou area is located, it was a minor inconvenience.
